Here is a variety on the Scott 11 Nova Scotia stamps.

Here are two Scott 11 stamps...The
stamp on the right has a line through the middle of the stamp.

Another oddity with Nova Scotia stamps. Called "hidden perforations"...

@wert The horizontal and vertical lines on your Nova Scotia stamps (and often dots as well) are positioning lines scribed on the printing plate to aid positioning of the transfer die to the plate.
Doctor blade flaws are an occurrence on litho printed stamps of the 60s - 70s (or so).
