I currently have my wife's great grandfather's stamp collection which includes an envelope sent under censorship by his son, Jack McCandlish (my wife's great uncle) from New Guinea during world war II. Sadly, as he was part of the M Special Unit in the Australian Army, the Japanese executed him on the 31 August 1943 in the Dutch New Guinea. His name will be projected on the exterior of the Hall of Memory on the 14/2/2020, 15/5/2020, and 25 July 2020. banana face mask without honeyI have some other interesting stamps in the collection.
