She is Queen Mary widow of George V. Mother of George VI and therefore Great Grand Mother to the baby Charles . It is a 4 generation portrait . the title of “Queen Mother” was created for the widow Elizabeth when George VI died as Mother of the reigning Queen , not used by Queen Mary.

Ajman Scott /Stanley Gibbons #1 issued 20th June 1964. The smallest of the former Trucial States … consists of the town of Ajman on the Persian Gulf and three separated areas in the interior. On 2 December 1971, Ajman joined the United Arab Emirates. The recipient of the cover (Stolow) had a controversial reputation as a distributor of issues without real postal validity. From the AP December 1968 when APS was a strong vocal advocate against the "new issue deluge".

Hey all, so is anyone obsessed enough with their collecting interests that they'll add a stamp to their Want List (such as Number Ones, like here), even if there is no way in God's good green earth that they'll ever be able to really afford it? I have! #WaitingOnAMiracle Cause otherwise the list would be *incomplete*, dontcha know! Can't have thaaaaaat!

I was working on a spreadsheet and it lists about 1050 "number ones" but not everyone's definition is the same. For Scott, when there are back of the one issues (occupation, possessions, military, treaty ports, etc.) the number can go up.
For example, countries that have been fought over many times can have a large postal history,
Morocco French Offices Morocco British Offices Morocco German office Morocco Spanish Offices Morocco Rio De Oro 1905-1922 Morocco Tetuan 1908-1908 Morocco Spanish Morocco Morocco French Morocco Morocco Cape Juby 1916-1948 Morocco French Offices-Tangier 1918-24 Morocco La Aguera 1920-1922 Morocco Spanish Sahara 1924-1976 Morocco British Offices in Tangier Morocco Spanish Offices in Tangier Morocco Ifni 1941-1969 Morocco Great Britain Tangier International City 1948-1950 Morocco Spanish West Africa 1949-1951 Morocco Morocco - Northern zone Morocco Morocco - Southern zone Morocco Morocco 1958-

Tuvalu-Niutao Sc #1 issued 1985. One of the nine small islands of Tuvalu. Niutao issued a flurry of stamps depicting such diverse subjects as cars, locomotives, cricket players, and the British royal family in the mid-1980s. The first issue happens to be one of the topical series common from other prolific stamp issuing countries that focused on topicals for collectors.

Hey angore, just curious about where this Washington stamp fits in with the World Number Ones theme here? Although I agree it's not the most attractive design...
