Schlesvig Scott # 1 - 1920 - 2 1/2 pf gray
My AFA catalog, being Danish in origin, numbers it instead starting from the equivalent series in Danish currency, so their number 1 is the 1 Ore, with a "1. Zone" overprint:
Schlesvig, AFA #1

French National Liberation Committee in Algiers issue, AFA #1, from 1943. Yvert & Tellier lists those as part of the general French Colonies issues instead.

The AFA catalog resets the numbering of stamps from the Açores when they resumed issuing them in 1980, so here is the block featuring the AFA#1 and #2 stamps from then, interesting showing the design of the original first set of issues in 1868:

Anglo-American German Occupied Zone, YT #1, 1pf. grey-black, Braunschweig printing, issued in 1945: The AFA catalog does another trick with the Anglo-American Occupation Zone and resets the numbering (actually double-numbers the stamps from this period, also as part of the main Germany sequence), and so a new #1 is the 2 pf. black definitive issue with the overprinted matrix of postal horns, from 1948:

For East Germany, the AFA catalog also starts with the same series from 1948, but with local post office overprints:

I'm only making a list of the names of the countries posted, the pics will still be in the original order. But - still helpful to know which ones have been posted, eh?

I don't have it Awwww, vikingeck & blaamand , THANK YOU sooooo much! Super appreciate the kind words. And as to the Canadian Beaver, I’m pretty sure I don’t have one either. If I did it would only be a copy in my price range, say one that looked like it actually spent time in a beaver den, plastered into the mud walls. Yeah, I could afford one like that! Haha
