Forgery is always a "word" used by many on this Forum - now how credible is the "member" - Since I have no credentials in this area....I disqualify myself It is always good to know who the expert is or to which reference he is talking about - Thanks

Answer=0 as we do not have a member with credentials on Forgeries.....there exists many links though and everyone has a "right" to give an opinion on this Forum - that is what I want to hear René

However renden Rene I think there are several here with enough experience and expertise to recognise and firmly highlight a forgery in our own collecting areas, where what we can see and state is more than just "an opinion". While none of us would claim to be experts able to detect all forgeries, Many of us will hold originals in our collections which allow comparison with suspect similarities. enough to state without fear of contradiction a lot of the time " Well that is a forgery" or " OK that looks genuine"
