Giro de Comercio, 1861. Just created this page the other night. Hopefully will be creating more pages for Spanish revenues. Having a catalog really helps with identification.

A Tourist Policy receipt for 15 Pesetas issued by the Hotel Regina, Barcelona, October 1961. As I understand from cursus , the additional political stamp for 10 Centimos was not obligatory but was strongly advised to be used.
It depicts José Antonio Primo de Rivera who was the founder of the Falange Española. He was captured and later executed by the government of the Second Spanish Republic and was much revered by the Nationalists.

The "Poliza de Turismo" revenue stamp was an official one of a much larger series:
Actually a nice, stamp, where you can even read the name of the inn.
The Hotel Regina, still exists in Barcelona's Bergara street. A good one.
As for José Antonio Primo de Rivera, he was the leader of a fascist party, with very close ties with Mussolini's Italian Fascist Party. His death was very good to assert general Franco's leadership on the "Nationalist" side.

I was hoping someone could help me out with more information on this one. I believe it to be a revenue stamp issued about 1959 by the local council in Navarre, Spain. That is the end of my knowledge though, so if anyone has a revenue catalog and can tell me more, including any catalog codes, that would be most appreciated!

This, is actually a revenue stamp from the "Diputación Foral de Navarra". The governement of Navarra. Navarra, is an old kingdom (independent between ca. 800 AD and 1512) on the North of the Iberian peninsula, between the river Ebro and the Pyrenees. With an area of 10.400 sq. km and a population of 600.000 people, between 1833 and 1980 Navarra was a Spanish province. Since 1980, it's an "autonomous community" ("federal state") within the Spanish kingdom.
This revenue stamp, printed at the "Heraclio Fournier" printing works of Vitoria-Gasteiz (Basque Country) looks from the 1950s, with a face value of 20 cents of peseta (Spanish currency 1868-2001) shows the castle of Olite (Central Navarra) and was used to pay taxes from a company ("Fca. stands for "fabrica" = factory) in Pamplona - Iruña the capital of Navarra.

What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

I was working through Portugal album pages and at the end was this page of wrongly placed revenue stamps from Spain. The Spanish city names were a dead giveaway. i had not seen them before but a bit of searching shows they are rather common and no great value. Because they do not have values I first thought they were Cinderellas. They date to 1874.
