For my Jamaica collection, I need to create some custom pages for the KGVI 1938-51 varieties. Steiner pages do not provide any spaces for the perforation varieties. I compiled a list of issues and consulted SG to see what they listed. As usual, I get puzzled by some assign suffixes (which one gets to be the suffix). I plan to redo the Steiner page to group by perforation then create a separate page for any stamps that has a second variety. Scott and Steiner has the later issues outside the initial group so have no plans to modify those pages to combine. In the comparison I noticed 3 differences 1. Scott does not mention a second 5sh and SG only states it is "Line". Whatever that means. The price is high. I will not add but curious what that means. 2. Scott lists a 5sh bluish paper variety not mentioned in Scott and value is fairly low so not likely item above. 3. Scott does not list a second 5sh shade but it may be the same a above since issued in 1958. I assume ba means it is perf 13 like 132b/ Net, I have already invested an hour researching a simple page!

Line must be the perf style, as in Line or Comb.
Line where the perf holes do not align perfectly, Comb where the holes are matched perfectly.
