Welcome Ryan, I hope your collection was safe during the flood. I lived in Calgary for a few years and saw video of my old place. What a mess. My place was fine, yes. I was in Ohio at the time of the flood and was spending a lot of time watching live coverage on the internet on the CBC and CTV local sites, so I was well informed. I live in a condo development that has had a lot of problems with poor draining and resulting basement floods, but I'm on a bit of high ground and I've never had a drop make it into my place. A few of my friends were evacuated (among 165,000 in southern Alberta) but I only know of one who had major damage. Lucky all around! Ryan |
