Hello All,
I'm not sure of this -- is there a policy regarding posting several images at once? Is it preferred to make one post for each image, or to put as many as needed in a single post?
I ask because I want to photograph the stock books I was gifted and upload them, both to share what I have and also to ask advice on organizing everything.
Warmly, Chris

You might start with a single image and ask for a response. And give care to the image size. Too large an image is much, to me, like shouting with all capital letter text.

Thanks for your post, Chris ( ckildegaard). It is a good question! Thanks for your answer, JeffS. I think your advice is sound. Chris, to your original question, I don't think that there is a policy on this. Some members almost always do one image to one post, and there are others who have made single posts that are long and contain many images. I think that Jeff's advice is absolutely on the right track. Try making a post with a single image first, and see how that looks and how others respond. If you are going to be posting photos of entire stock book pages rather than of individual stamps, it may end up being better to do one image per post. But try one, and let's see how it looks. Thanks for asking! Looking forward to seeing what you've found.

There is no stated "rule" regarding a maximum number. Reason should prevail when determining the number of images to include in a single post.
Remember that when posting images, add explanatory text within the post so that those who perform searches applicable to the topic of your posts may find them. Text placed on the image itself is not searchable.

Hello All,
Thanks much for your replies. I will try making a single post with a single image first and see how it goes.
Unfortunately, I'm not entirely sure of all that I have, as there is a lot of material and I consider it to be fairly disorganized (which is part of why I'm posting so I can get advice on how to rearrange things), so while I will try to give some description as to what I am posting, I can't guarantee it'll be as inclusive/thorough as would be ideal.
