Hi Everyone
I started collecting when I was 5 watching my dad and helping him. I collected on and off then until I became a mum and then collecting was not a priority. When I have been poorly over the years or had to have an operation I have gone back to my stamps to relax and in this lockdown with working from home it has become part of my normal weekend priority to help me de-stress
I love to listen to classic FM and just chill. Not sure my grown up children or grandchildren understand it but I am quite happy in my temporary office, sorting, fact finding, and putting the stamps in my books.
I found this web site and thought brilliant somewhere to go with people that share one of my passions.
Hope to speak to some of you.

Hello, barbara, and welcome to TSF! I am also familiar with the restorative powers of de-stressing through stamps, so glad that we may have that in common. I look forward to seeing some post of your favorite material. Best wishes from an American in England, -Chris ( Beryllium Guy)

Welcome from the UK barbara! We're definitely all kindred spirits here, so welcome! I completely agree that stamps are one of the few ways to de-stress in the current climate. I look forward to seeing some of your stamps on here!
