I just came across a pile of pages with stamps from the Calhoun's Collectors Society. They have regular issued US stamps and not the gold colored ones. Are there any value to theses or should I just keep the stamps and pitch the pages?

At the time of this post Mr. H , you have had 40 visitors viewing but no answers. Questions get answered better when we see a picture. Why not scan and post a page? I guess that most of us have never heard of Calhoun Collectors club which immediately suggests to me it is not a significant Philatelic reference , so if it was mine and I was short of space, the pages were plain, and I had many of the stamps already, I would be inclined to cannibalise the pages, keep what I need, trade the duplicates and dump the pages unless they were artistic creations. But that’s just me.

This entity apparently tried to cash in on speculation in the "rare" stamp market in the 1970s. You'll find some background on its practices in this Postal Service complaint against them which alleges that they were "engaged in conducting a scheme or device for obtaining money or property through the mails by means of false representations." Collectors of Staffa material might also be interested in reading that complaint.

Agreed. I'm not a collector of this type of material, but I'd hate to just throw out the pages if someone has an interest in them.

I just found the cover sheet for the collection. They are supposed to be all 43 (there are actually 44 in the collection) airmail commemoratives issued between 1934 (first included is actually from 1948) to 1983. They must be legitimate as there is a certificate of authenticity. LOL

... They must be legitimate as there is a certificate of authenticity. LOL Yes, legitimately low value stamps sold at a hefty premium!

It's a neat example of the "stamps-ploitation" of the era. So many dollars spent on Franklin Mint, Royal Wedding, etc. All claiming "investment quality" or "prestigious". It's not my cup of tea, but for $10, not much to lose. I do find the hype completely hilarious, even as I have most if not all of the plate blocks from that era, so nothing to sneer at.

Wow, someone paid as much as $10.75 against competition , ok may be not too high, there must be some mint face value at least , but the seller needs $34 in mailing costs . So $45 to the buyer does not look so attractive!
