Scott 151 with GM perfin. Ryan , earlier, had posted a webpage link for identifying perfins that I have used before but I did not see this one noted under Belgium's perfin listings. Any help would be appreciated.

I looked in Ancoper as I have previously found some perfins on Belgie stamps listed there , but not this one! The uniformity makes me thinks it my be an "official" stamp of some kind, but I see nothing in COB. I do have some Bavaria stamps with a very distinct "E" perforation which is very uniform across the denominations - and it is a railway stamp(Eisenban) cjoprey - hrdoktorx -any ideas?? nothing in Benelux revenues

Sorry Sten stainlessb - none of my references or my online links mention this perfin... I keep meaning to join the Dutch perfin club just to get their Belgian perfin guide... Will have to do so one of these days. (https://www.perfinclubnederland.nl/gb/nieuwe-perfincatalogus-van-belgie/)

On that note - if anyone ever comes across a printed copy of the Official catalog of precancelled stamps of Belgium (https://www.deslegte.com/officiele-catalogus-van-de-voorafgestempelde-zegels-van-belgie-2349469/) I would love to know! I've been trying to find a copy for ages.

racatrien The perfin H are those of an insurance Company: Helvetia S.A. The perfin was in use in Bruxelles and in Natoye between 1884-1914. This perfin is quiet common because they had a lot of business mail. This company still exist, but they never used perfin again after WWI. darkormex your GM perfin come from a coal merchant in Lokeren: Gustave Maes. It was used between 1894 and 1952.
