I came across these stamps whilst sorting through an old eBay lot. I think they're from Albania (the double eagle suggests it, anyway, and it can't be Russia as it's in western script). Most appear to be tax stamps, as well. Any help in identifying would be greatly appreciated. (Sorry for the off-center placing of the stamps, I've never been the most dexterous in the use of my tweezers / tongs!)

hiraeth23 .....you showed same in a "test post" and I did tell you they were from Albania...."postage dues" (4) and 1 surcharge These stamps were never authorized and never used (Ref: Scott Catalog)
Thanks, René, I did see your post in the test section. I've done some further digging and they're actually more interesting than I thought. It seems they were issued as part of a rebellion that that area of Albania experienced in the early '20's. Never postally used, and never recognized, as you say. Interestingly, for political reasons, some of Albania's neighbours did recognize the Republic of Mirdita, although the rebellion was quickly over. If you're interested, I can post a link to the Wikipedia article on the Republic.
