Really liked Londonbus1 article on Philatelic Dove of Peace. He shows, but does not credit, Rockwell Kent's Peace stamp. Here is a cover from Kant to a correspondent in Russia, where he uses his own stamp, and a rubber cancel he also designed with the dove for air mail. I am also showing the order form for the Peace Stamp. Au Sable Forks is the town where Kent's farm "Asgaard" is located in upstate New York. The farm was recently named to the National Register of Historic Places. FYI, the cover is from the Kent archive I acquired from kosmo , which was the impetus for my joining the Forum. I have enjoyed it, and am currently writing an article for the Newsletter.
