Introducing greenfingers , I'm an old collector of some 60 years, and having sold several collections these days I concentrate on the classic issues of Nepal. I worked there for 4 years on an Australian Aid project, so speak Nepali (badly) and can read the devenagri script (slowly). I have a large collection of the various shades of colours of the early issues , but keen to make some sense of the descriptions given to them by various (mostly dead) authors. If this sounds pedantic it probably is. I can no longer afford early covers at US$450 a pop, so add to my collection in more modest ways. Kind regards to all who share my passion (obsession). |

What I collect: My focus is on Wild Mammals on maximum cards. Occasionally, I get or create maximum cards with other animals, or any other topic.

Welcome to TSF ... I'm a worldwide collector with special interest in British Commonwealth. I collect Nepal, as well, and have no felicity whatsoever in Nepali, so I am often stumped as I attempt to sort early issues.
