Apropos of the conversation about meeting up at Stampex in London in September (apologies but I cannot find the thread!) I thought I'd share this Souvenir Sheet from an earlier Stampex. I found it in a WW mix yesterday. What goodies will you find at this year's show?
Sadly, it's afflicted with the same 'acid hinge' problem that affected so many stamps in the mix. There was a space on the sheet to hinge the 'adopted design' stamp which was affixed with an evil 'dark side of the Force' hinge. A mere 64 years later and it's bled through everything.
Will you still need me? Will you still bleed [through] me, when I'm 64?
Must not have been one of those classic Dennison hinges that are bringing hundreds of dollars at auction today.
Still, it's an interesting sheet. I like the contrast between similar designs. They knew philatelists liked that sort of thing.

Thanks cjoprey. I searched for Stampex, Stampex 2023 and missed it both times!
