Great job, everyone! What a varied and compelling set of articles. I'm so impressed with all the different ways to think and write about our hobby. And I'll not forget that I have "The Right To Hinge" PS - napo Can you tell us more about your struggle. Did you click the link in the original post to go to the newsletter current issue page? Did you click the link to download the PDF version of the newsletter (link is labelled "Volume 5, Issue 2". If so, then what happened? The newsletter is a PDF file. You might have to check your download folder. some browsers automatically download files when you click the link. Mine opened the PDF file in a new tab, but it might work differently for you. Good luck!

Excellent range of subjects! Thank you to our hardworking editor and to each contributor. I had a tough time choosing a favorite and just went with the one that taught me the most, but they were all great reads.

I would also like to take a moment to congratulate the TSF Newsletter Editor, Steve ( tomiseksj), and the Editorial Staff ( Jerry B and brightonpete), as well as all of the authors who contributed articles: It is truly an excellent publication. It has been tough to choose between the articles, as I have found more than one I really like, but in keeping with the TSF tradition, I have made a choice, nonetheless. Congratulations to all on a job very well done.... You do credit to us all!

A wonderful issue. I learned something from every article and it was a great read. My deepest thanks to the contributors and editors! If I may, I would like to add a tiny bit of information to David M Frye's article about 'silenced' connections. In the caption to Figure 2, he speculates that the name of the sender, written as "Ch.M. Mons", may be "Ch[arles?]". Usually, for French speakers, and Mons is definitely a Walloon name, so we can assume that the sender was a native French speaker, the use of "Ch." as an initial instead of simply "C." tends to indicate that the phoneme at the beginning of the name is more akin to a "k" sound, not a "sh" sound. Therefore, the more likely interpretation is that the sender's first name is "Christian" or "Christophe". Congrats again to all for an outstanding issue. It was quite difficult to choose which article to vote for in the poll!
