Hi Everyone,
Great to be part of this forum. I hope to learn a lot and contribute if I can. I'm a Kiwi living in San Diego. I am focusing on NZ Chalons, but have other NZ stamps as well. I also collect books, maps, etc. about NZ history, particularly the Thames Valley area.
Regards,
Skid

to the forum, Skid! My first foreign stamps were from New Zealand. Great country to collect. I should restart it up again. I have but a couple sets now, it'll take a while to get to where I was almost 50 years ago! Lots of info here, enjoy yourself!

Hello and Kia Ora Skid ! Great to have another Chalon collector join this community. How did you come to be living in San Diego? The Americas Cup left town many years ago now I am looking forward very much to seeing what you have there. Always good to see what others have. BTW Your interest in the Thames Valley area of NZ is intriguing. My job takes me to Thames reasonably often so is an area I travel to many times a year. In fact I was there twice in the past week due to one of our branches closing in nearby Paeroa. See you around here (hopefully on the Chalon thread). Dave

Welcome to the forum, Skid! I too would like to know how you ended up in San Diego. Had to do a bit of Googling to find out the connection between queens' heads and Chalon. Interesting.
