My late dad left me a very useful Block Album - a few pics to show you - 2 US PLBs - I have most Canada/US blocks/PBs in there, protected. I also will on occasion, for a special block, mount it in Album - Do not Use Vario ages and no need for now with these dedicated block holders LOL ! I do not consider these as some type of "display". My software program knows where they are- I also have lots of PBs (Canada) in my Lindner albums (no mounting - just clear pouches. René

I'm a collector of Canadian PB and I use Vario 4 per page to store them - it fits most of them well and sometimes I add in a 1 per page when the stamps are too large. It has stored the stamps very well for over 30 years, so I'll continue until I finish my collection and then look at alternatives for my "new" collection. I just need a better binder or split them by decades as it is too heavy currently. Glad to see some things haven't changed since I've come back to my collection. My only thing for reconsidering this method is I keep them in numeric order and sometimes if I make a mistake or miss one, or in the case of the Scott Catalogue, the numbering system adds in a new one unexpectedly and now it's out of order. My OCD kicks in and it bothers me. I probably have to let that go as I can't imagine changing this up over and over again when I need to insert a new block that I missed. At this stage of life, these are the little things that trip me up

What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

A little shuffling of neighbouring pages to partially fill the new page would help the appearance of almost empty pages. I have a postcard collection with postmarks from my home county in Nova Scotia. When I bought a new larger album I left a few blank pages to accommodate new additions. I still have to do some shifting when a new arrival comes along but it only affects a few pages.

I don’t have that many plate blocks. The ones I have, I put in mounts and add pages to my album as necessary. Works well enough for me. Or I might add a Vario page.
