I'm an expat living in the UAE, and I focus on clllecting stamps from GB and Canada. What draws toward this hoppy is the art and the story behind each stamp, I never get bored. Finally when buying a high value stamp, I love the investigative work that I have to do to make sure that I'm buying the reall thing.
Cheers,
Quincy

My Canadian collection is almost there, but I can't afford QV Scott #3 ... Neither could I (and neither can most people) but you could take the shortcut I took - once in a while you'll find a plate proof for #3 with the red vertical SPECIMEN overprint, the least expensive of the #3 plate proofs. That's a much less expensive way of filling the spot! (This isn't a scan of my own copy, just a handy image I nabbed online once upon a time ...) Welcome to our forum! Ryan
