What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

I hesitate to buy more expensive Canadian classics on line but I do check eBay to see what things like the 1897 Jubilee's are selling for in completed sales. I prefer to buy from auctions I am familiar with even if I pay a bit more. I was surprised to see that there are 3.00, 4.00 and 5.00 reproductions offered now listed as 'Copy'. When I checked further I was even more surprised to see how many world wide stamps are listed as 'Reproduction' or 'Copy'. I am speaking of brand new reproductions. There are lots of warnings of copies of older issues in stamp catalogues. For most of us this is not an issue but one does wonder how this will affect the hobby 30 or 40 years down the road when they are buried in collections without the warning.
