Just want to say hello and glad to be accepted as a member of the forum.
I have been collecting stamps since I was 8 years old (just hit 57 this year), and have only taken a break from collecting a few times because of those pesky adult things we have to do when we get old (work is the peskiest thing but needs must).
My collecting interests includes worldwide (I have Scott Internationals up to volume 20), along with various Scott Specialty albums for Great Britain (my main interest), Ireland, Isle of Man, Jersey, Gibraltar, New Zealand, Canada, France, Germany, Austria, Czechoslovakia, and Hong Kong. Sometimes I wonder where I will find the time to give proper attention to all my collecting interests, but somehow I find it.
Thanks to the admin for accepting and approving my request to become a member here. I look forward to learning new things, helping people with their questions, and finding new internet friends.

What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

Welcome to the forum. You are very ambitious to be up to volume 20 in the Scott World Wide. I cut off at around 1965 which has me at volume 6. When I acquired my 3 to 6 I found the system of having the albums split by years drove me crazy so I now have mine done up in alphabetic order. The layout of volume 1 caused a few problems and I still find me searching for some of the very small countries and colonies. Cheers, Hugh

Got very confusing and time consuming trying to find everything when it was divided up by years. My Internationals are all alphabetized as well. Took some time organizing them, as well as inserting glassines. Twenty binders ended up being 30 by the time I got done. At some point I may need to build an extension on this house for all the binders and other necessities of our hobby!

Welcome! Prioritizing (philatelic) interests. Not all stamps deserve chunks of our time.
