On a similar note, Scott makes it pretty hard to identify every stamp issued by year. If a stamp is released in 2012, has the same design as a stamp from 2010, but has a major catalog number, it will be listed under 2010, not 2012.
This makes it very hard to make a list of all stamps I need for a certain year by using the Scott Catalog.
So, I’ve been using other online resources to put together lists. Virtual Stamp Club has been great for this.
But VSC involves a lot of clicking. Is there any place that has checklists that lists Scott Major Catalog numbers by year with stamp names in an easy format such as a text file that I can download somewhere.
I’m already doing the work to make the list, and I would love to make it available, but Amos lawyers would come after me for it.
