Hello
I am a Norwegian man of 50 years, living on the west coast of Norway. Spends a lot of time on Philately and antiques, since I live alone, an average of 5 hours is spent every day on stamps. retired me and will spend the rest of the time on hobbies. Which is mainly philately, strange object / collector interests, a lot of photography / animations, drone movies, nature and traveling around the country with the caravan. Insta account for photos. Youtube account for philately and nature films.
Has been collecting for about 25 years, it has become all over the world. Much Scandinavia, USA, England, France, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Germany and the Middle East and Asia. Spent years on Frank / wash and immersed myself a bit in bluishpaper. Active on other forums a few years back but in recent years been mostly auctions / purchases. Have a lot I want to find out, now I need to learn more to know what I really have. Not selling anything, never done. And I actually think it's fun to share photos / info when you have found something, need answers, knowledge and details, because that's how I first understood Philately - in the forums

thanks everyone
I'll jump right in there and make a thread under Samoa later tonight. The series Palm Trees from 1887 I have found turns out to be / can be something special. I had no idea about Samoe before I came across these, but as usual, after reading a bit it became more complicated.

Egil when you are trying to add photos are you clicking on the "Add image to post" button or the "Upload images"? I have always used the "Add image to post" which brings up a pop-up window that I simple drag and drop images from my computer onto

Welcome. NordicTraveler , to TSF! The west coast of Norway is one place I would love to travel to, that is, if we ever get past this pandemic. Until then, I will have to content myself with travel videos and collecting Norwegian stamps. BOB
