Guillaume Apollinaire (1880 - 1918) contributed to various literary fields but is best remembered (at least for me) as a poet. France issued this stamp in 1961 in honour of him: From my high school study of French literature, I remember best his Calligrammes, which is a collection of poems written in free verses that are arranged in a way to visually represent the themes of the poems. Exemple taken from Wikipedia:

France issued in 1991 a series of 6 stamps that commemorate 6 French poets who have been associated with the surrealist movement. They are: - Louis Aragon(1897 - 1982)
- André Breton (1896 - 1966)
- René Char (1907 - 1988)
- Paul Éluard (1895 - 1952)
- Francis Ponge (1899 - 1988)
- Jacques Prévert (1900 - 1977)
Here are two maxicards with the Aragon stamp and the Char stamp: Of all of them, I regard Jacques Prévert most highly, but my favourite poem by this group of poets is « Liberté (Freedom) » (1942) by Paul Éluard. In high school, I used to print out a copy of this poem and fix it on my door. My younger sister who later majored in French literature thought it was a love poem, and was arguing with me that the last word 'Liberté' (freedom) was added by me to make it sounding like an anti-war poem. To prove that the last word was there in the original poem, I went to the bookstore to place a special order of Paul Éluard's poetry collection that contained this poem, which has long since been out of print in Quebec, and waited a month or so for the book to arrive from France. [Pictured: manuscript of « Liberté (Freedom) » (1942) by Paul Éluard.]

Charles Baudelaire (1821 - 1867) was a French poet notable for his at times controversial collections Les Fleurs du mal (1857) and Le Spleen de Paris (1869). He was an important figure in the symbolist movement who dealt with the main theme of decadence. He has been commemorated twice in France's postal history. The first stamp was issued in 1951, the second in 2021 on the occasion of his birth bicentenary.
Here is a Monaco FDC showing the commemorative stamp of Baudelaire issued 1972 on the occasion of his 150th birth anniversary:

Paul Claudel (1868 - 1955) was a French poet, essayist and dramatist, and the younger brother of the sculptor Camille Claudel, August Rodin's one-time lover. This stamp of Claudel was issued in France in 1968 on the occasion of his birth centenary as part of the series Famous People that includes the stamp of the composer François Couperin.
