This set is from Peter, ultimately part of the same group, Nestlé, as Cailler and Kohler. This series, entitled Imprudence, is disturbing. The artist has put these children though all manner of danger. At least the two stranded children, bottom right, are being rescued. But the moral is 'never cross a railway line with a pig and goose'.

Thanks as always for an interesting post, daniel. You do have a knack for finding unusual material! In this case, I wonder if "Impudence" would be an even better title than "Imprudence"!

The artist has put these children though all manner of danger. At least the two stranded children, bottom right, are being rescued. But the moral is 'never cross a railway line with a pig and goose'. These are wonderful, remind me of Der Struwwelpeter, from probably fifty years before, but certainly translated into French. Every German knows Der Struwwelpeter. It still weirds out careful readers. On stamps since 1994. Here little Paulinchen finds out what happens playing with matches. Like Cailler and Kohler, Deutsche Post didn't go all the way with the next panel; brutal end for Paulinchen. The cats tried to tell her.

Another set, this time from Cailler, and depicting Ancient Games. We know that they do not depict an Olympics since there are women present and the men are clothed.

This set, incomplete, depicts Historic Costumes (Swiss Soldiers) from NPCK. Note that No.12 is from Nestle series 1 and is perforated but would have been the same image for the NPCK set.
