I do like the look of the pillar postboxes of the UK. I didn't realize there were so many varieties.
I was one of the lucky ones to win the Legends of the West panes through the lottery. I haven't seen it in a while, but I believe I have all the original paperwork and envelope from the mailing. I also have a letter from the USPS to my father letting him know he didn't win one.

The checkboxes are extremely faint in Chrome. If I was not told, I would not have noticed them. Just click in the area and a check symbol appears.

Just one correction related to the article about the Warwick Castle - Belfast is in Northern Ireland, not Northern Island. Apart from that, it was a pretty good article.

I apologize. In my haste to get the issue released, I missed it. I promise I'll try harder next time.

Thanks for the reminder about the newsletter. I voted. But I can't find any holiday giveaway to enter. Looked for it; no dice.

It is in there -- buried within one of the articles -- requires reading all of them!

A very tough choice. OK, I admit I am biased because my mother was British and I spent 3 years in the UK during the late 1950's, but the article was obviously well researched and the images were wonderful. It brought back some dim memories of the ever present "Postes" as they were known by the locals. The boxes added a splash of color to almost any setting, and there were always the "hidden" ones that you only found by accident or by word of mouth from a long-time resident.
