What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

Clicking on that will open another window where you can then click and go to photos on your computer or device. That is the one I always use. There is also an 'Upload images' tab that I have never used. Hope that helps.

Hi Donjuan, The 1c Washington stamp on all your cards is Scott design A140. Depending on perforation & watermark, the stamps could be any of Scott # 405; # 424; # 462; or # 498. None of yours are coils, and none appear to be offset printing, which eliminates Scott # 525. None appears to be perf 12 1/2, eliminating Scott # 536. Unlikely, but could be coil waste stamps - Scott #s 538, 542, 543, or 545. The only truly rare/valuable varieties of this stamp are the compound perf varieties - Scott #s 423A & 423D - the pictures don't indicate that any are compound perfs. The little pieces of paper - with the measurements - where did they come from? They should NOT be taped to the cards - please remove carefully - they will damage the cards! Not sure what the measurements are supposed to indicate, but you cannot ID these stamps from those measurements. Step 1 to ID these is to get a perf gauge. Cannot be done without perforation measurements, and cannot determine perfs from a picture. Step 2 would be to check for watermarks - which is almost impossible to do while the stamps are on the cards. This tool can help ID easily - but only once you know the perf & watermark types: stampsmarter.org/features/SQL_Wash_Frank_ID.htmlCannot offer more info without knowing the perf & watermarks. But to answer your initial question, these stamps were printed in the billions, and 99.999% have very little value. They will be worth more on the cards than off the cards... Hope this helps...

Thanks for taking the time to figure out how to post the images, Don ( donjuan2021).... it makes the thread much more interesting. For what it's worth, I agree with Michael ( mdroth). The stamps and postcards are much better left intact than attempting to do anything to fully idenitfy the stamps themselves, which in all probability are the most commonly found varieties. Speaking of the postcards, I notice that one has a nice cancel from my hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, with an interesting subject on the card: the old Euclid Beach Park, which is long since gone, but was quite the local landmark in its day. I would imagine that particular postcard should be highly desirable, as I am sure that there are people who collect Euclid Beach Park ephemera and would love to have a postcard like that. Come to think of it, I would love to have a postcard like that!
