Hello i was going through my box with postcards, FDC and other things when i stumbled upon this. To be clear, i am not a huge collector of FDC but sometimes i gather them when buying a box of stamps on a yardsale or other places. Does anybody know if this was common to use postcards like this?

What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

Postal stationary and postcards were and are issued by the postal service of most countries. You generally will only find them listed in specialty catalogues of countries as back of the book items.

Postal stationery cards were issued by most countries and could be bought at post offices .Sometimes just at face value sometimes for a small premium extra for the cost of the card
Basically they were seen by businesses as a convenience, as they already had stamp images printed on them, so no need to lick and stick, especially if doing a bulk mailing.
There are half a dozen types of POSTAL STATIONERY
1. Postcards rated for inland mailing and international mailing like your Belgium example
2. Double postcards which had a second card attached for the recipient to use as a reply. Again Inland and International rate .
3 letter cards on which a private message could be written, which were folded and had a gummed strip all round to seal and tear off to open
4 Newspaper wrappers with a cheaper stamp which could be put around a newspaper or magazine
5. Envelopes with a printed stamp, with variants for inland, international, airmail, and registered
6. folded flimsy Airmail letter sheets or AEROGRAMS

Hello Viking
Thank you for listing up the several types of postal stationary. And it makes sense that business would see an advantage in these kind of pre printed cards.
