What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

Today's stamping had me spending several hours going through a few hundred Polish stamp. The hunting was poor but a few holes were filled. In the process I came across this Cinderella I had mounted in my album. I have found this information about it: Charity labels such as these were sold in the period immediately after World War II to raise funds for the reconstruction of health resorts for Polish postal and telegraph workers.

#1) (just my guess) Polish Army in France? looks like Sikorski's Army emblem? if so, then c1939-1940?
#2) Academic Schools in Lviv cinderella, Dom Zdrowia in Mikuliczyn, c1930, I typically see them affixed to school documents (such as certificates/diplomas), I've seen one other denomination of 1zl
#3) Polish Legion fantasy c1916, set of 4 denominations (2,5,10,20h all exist perforate and imperforate, 2h exists in 2 color shades)

You're welcome. Hopefully someone can chime in and confirm/correct about the first cinderella. Gotta love the sawtooth cuts!

The first stamp is definitly weird... For what it could worth, i've never seen something similar. The white eagle and also the words Poczta Francuska refer to the polish area, but what is it? All these kind of stamps are listed (if they're listed) in the Tom II of the Fischer catalog. The one i have dates back to 2010. I've passed it two/three times looking all the pictures, but no, it is not listed and i couldn't find anything about it... In my opinion it's just a fantasy issue, issued where/when/why i don't know... Keep it aside. One day you'll find his brother or sister and you will let us know, but at the moment there's nothing more i can say... Just to know, on which paper it has been printed? Thin-thick, could it be a cut out of a poster? About the second label, there is not so much to add to what it has already been said. Dom Zdrowia... Szkół Akademickich, literally Health's house... Accademic School... I don't have specific information. they're labels applied on school's documents or certificates, like in the picture above. There is another similar label by 1zl. A certificate with the labels applied and a detail of the labels The 1zl label The last one is the only one i could find in my catalog. It is a fund rising label listed in the military posts chapter of the catalog. It is part of a set of four issued during WWI (the catalog says 1915-1917). They're rather common and you can find information googling "Legionistom polskim", Polish legionnaires. The polish legions were formed by Pilsudski to fight against Russia for the Poland's independence. The denomination in H(ellers) shows they were issued in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. These labels can be found perforated (linear 11 1/2) or not perforated and the drawings refer to a similar stamp (a little less common) of a smaller format by 10gr.

I found this on another stamp forum : "It is a fantasy stamp issue for a philatelic exhibition held in Siedlce in 1919. It looks like they mispelled Siedlce in their postmark and put "Sieldce" instead"

The polish Marianne? Just a word about the currency. Before WWI Poland did not exist as an independent country and it was divided in three partitions: Russian, German and Austrian. The russian partition was the Kingdom of Poland, the Kroleswto Polskie of the coin... and in each partition, the related currency (rubles/marks/korona) was in use. During WWI the kingdom of Poland was taken by the Deutsch Reich and at the end of the war, when Poland was born, the existing currencies was used up to 1924 when the Zloty/Groszy was introduced. So, in northern-eastern area under the Deutsch reich, the mark/pfenning->marek/fenig was in use. In southern area under austrian empire Korona/Heller->Korona/halerzy was in use...
