Greetings everyone. I am just restarting back into my collecting after a break of several decades. I am looking to remount many of my Canadian mint and used stamps in to a new album. I would like your recommendations on the most versatile sets of Lighthouse mounts to purchase that would cover the majority of my early collection. Any further advice would also be appreciated.

Greetings seant here's my two cents I do not collect Canada, but I know the stamps aref of a similar size (in most cases) to France and for pre-cut, the E, EH, J and JV are going to be fairly common- If you prefer strips that you cut yours self, then 25mm and 40mm would seem a good choice. This is what I use most, but I have many of the other sizes either as pre-cut or strips though in limited/less amounts for the less common sized stamps from, my experience, be wary of NOS (New Old Stock) or lots of mixed /open sizes- i have found that on the older mounts the adhesive loses it's .."worth" and I had to resort to a glue pen

I've always bought mine from either Trajan or a stamp shop in Ottawa. I usually buy something like 28mm and 55mm and leave it at that, not worrying about exact measurements with a plethora of mount sizes. There is also a package of 100's (? not sure) in all sizes from 21.5 (!! just too small, but have used them for smaller CTO's of East Germany) to extra large sizes for souvenir sheets/covers etc. I have never fretted about mount sizes! 21.5 mm is the same price as 55mm!
Just my 2 cents worth...
