What I collect: The World...just printing and mounting as I go...call me crazy!

I am currently working through a batch of US revenues and thought I would start with the battleship documentary and proprietary issues of 1898 since I like them and I seem to have quite a few of them that I have accumulated over the years. As a verification with others who may have more of a background in revenue issues than I have I am posting the stamps I photographed below. Both the documentary and proprietary issues of these stamps come rouletted 5 1/2 and hyphen hole perf. 7. In order to tell the difference I have looked at several sites which mention that "Roulettes and hyphen holes are measured by counting how many "cuts" there are in a distance of 20 millimeters." Below, on the left are what I consider to be hyphen hole 7 perf and on the right, 5 1/2 roulette perforations. The hyphen hole perf are smaller and wider and therefore you can count more within in a 20 millimeter distances where as the 5 1/2 roulette perfs on the right are longer and not as wide, making for less cuts over the same distance. Am I interpreting this correctly? Any insight from our members would be appreciated. These are, on the right, RB20p and on the left, RB20.

Impatiently, I decided not to wait for an answer last night and sorted, separated and mounted what I have anyway as below. I have dupes of some of them and, yes, I realize that many are in rough shape (if only you could see the backs!) but I mounted what I have. There seems to be little difference in value, roulette vs. hyphen hole but the rouletted stamps seem to be the most common in any given pile of stamps I sort or glassine I find.

I found this info when I was researching the battleship issue (one of my favorites):
