Because of a certain virus strangely named after a Mexican beer, I did not get to visit anyone this Christmas. Which gave me time to really prepare for my 2021 Ukrainian stamp album supplement. I made a complete list of the stamp sizes, figured out exactly which stamp mounts I will need and ordered the mounts I didn't have. For the first time I have a stamp mount guide for 2021.
I placed my order for 2021 stamps from my usual stamp dealer in Ukraine. Stamps shipped on the 6th of January (Christmas Eve in Ukraine).
I used my stamp mount guide to start creating stamp pages.
And tonight, my wife will be proofreading the pages.
There are only 2 problems:
1. MICHEL hasn't finished assigning catalog numbers to all of 2021 Ukraine yet. 2. My stamps haven't arrived from Ukraine
The seller provided me with a tracking number, which shows the package cleared customs and has left Kyiv on the 6th of January. But now its the 28th of January and the stamps aren't here yet.
Since I have started buying from this guy, I usually get my stamps in a week. At the latest just under 2 weeks. Here we are, 3 weeks and no stamps.
The last tracking item shows the stamps leaving Kyiv on the 6th and then nothing. I want to give extra time because of the pandemic, but I feel like it's time to reach out to the seller.

Does USPS give any information with the Ukrainian tracking number, or is Ukraine one of those "unsupported" countries for the USPS where trying to track registered etc mail is not "possible" because USPS does not have agreements to share data with other countries (like Australia for example)
I have an order coming from France, according to LaPoste it arrived in USA on 18 January. It only arrived at Columbus Main Distro Center on 27th Jan, and only left there for my Post Office this AM. So I prob will not get it until 31st or 1st Feb depending on how things are at my local PO (which lately has been very very SLOW - mail within Columbus taking nearly a week to get to me, but the weather here has been bad (more than 2 inches of snow on ground causes major freak-outs among people here) and of course COVID is causing all sorts of labor havoc, so not really surprised)

I can track that number on USPS.com. Both usps.com and ukrposhta.ua say the package left Kyiv on the 6th with no further tracking information. Not sure if it got on a plane, or is snail mailing across Western Europe. For all I know it's sitting in Kyiv waiting for a plane to leave for the US.
I had stamps come in once from Ukraine from a different seller. The label fell off. USPS printed a bar code and slapped it on at JFK Airport. The label fell off after that. So, it made it as far as my local post office, but never made it out the door. I called my local post office and they had it and didn't know what to do with it, since it only had a barcode. Not even a return address. I showed them my eBay paperwork with the tracking number and they let me take it home.
2 years ago I ordered a CD from a woman in Romania. Got the US. Ended up in St. Louis. I live in Bensalem, PA, about 2 minutes from Philadelphia. Every day tracking would show it's out for delivery and then returned to the post office as undelivered. I called USPS. They gave me the number to the local post office. I called and got a very nice guy. I told him the whole story. And he said 'Is this that damn CD?" I gave him my address and they sent it to me in some kind postage free official USPS official correspondence pouch.

Another challenge with the 2021 pages is the stamp sizes and putting thing in release order.
I put almost all my supplements in release date order. It allows you to flip through the pages and see how the year progressed.
With 2021, this led to 3 pages with just one small stamp on it, because UKRPOSHTA issued a miniature sheet, followed by a stamp, and then another miniature sheet. So far, I have managed to save 4 pages by being a little more liberal with my stamp layouts and removing a little from some stamp descriptions.
