Referencing the items below: Any help you can give me regarding the ID of these items would be appreciated. I know that some of them appear in the Springer Catalog but I do not have that publication and a quick search of ebay yields some very expensive offerings. What is the recommended classification to use when you mount them in an album- BOB, Cinderella, Other...? Thanks!

Bob in my understanding are postage due, air mail, express, etc. These seem to me revenue stamps, not postage stamps

In most instances these are Tax Paid items (except maybe the Customs Service Inspected Baggage item), so you might logically think they were Revenue stamps. However, neither the Scott Specialized Catalog nor the Scott National Revenue album lists them. I have two questions: - How do I assign an ID to them and ascertain some idea of their value. - Assuming these items would need to put on blank album pages, would it make sense to entitle the pages "NY Stock Transfer", "Tobacco Tax Paids", ....? Thanks!

The New York Stock Transfer stamps would be listed in the State Revenue Society's State Revenue catalog; you may find this website a useful reference. Information on the Customs Baggage Stamp is available in this thread and the article referenced in it.

Thanks! As you say some of these are Taxpaids, that is, revenues that are denominated in units rather than currency. This category is slowly be added to Scott. You can find some more explanation here. The article refers to Sherwood Springer's Handbook of North American Cinderella Stamps including Taxpaids. Look up Springers Handbook on eBay and you'll find 4 old editions at reasonable prices. Being old, they may not be great as far as value is concerned but they will give you better information. They won't include state revenues. Good luck, Daniel
