What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

This appears to be some sort of Cinderella from Victoria, Australia.

I believe it is a cinderella stamp issued for the Great Printing Exhibition held in Melbourn Town Hall, 2-8 Sep 1932. From Google other cinderella stamps issued for the same exhibition.

I was alerted to this cinderella stamp by hdm1950 as it has a print machine on it. I think that if it was produced to advertise the Great Printing Exhibition held in Melbourne Town Hall, 2-8 Sep 1932 as mentioned by rex then it would be mentioned on the stamp as his examples. It was probably just a printing press cinderella. The VICTORIA on the stamp refers to the fact that it is a Victoria Platen. Here are a couple of images of a Victoria platen press.

That is one fabulous Cinderella ! Not come across that one in 25 years of watching cinderellas. (Any information as to its provenance?)
What intrigues me, is the Acronym / Initials in the top corners SR or RS They do not seem to have any relevance to the machine. .....
These presses are of German descent — made by Rockstroh-Werke AG of Heidenau — but were made in the UK by Frank F Pershke. Rockstroh-Werke AG made three models of machine - Victoria (Model ‘B’) Auto-Victoria (Model ‘C’) Kobold
The three UK-made models were - Vicobold Autovicobold Autovic

rod222 - the R & S might be the German company, Rockstroh & Schneider, mentioned on that information sheet above

rod222 - the R & S might be the German company, Rockstroh & Schneider, mentioned on that information sheet above If so, this may help to date this Cinderella to pre 1919 as that was when the name changed. The company name was “ Maschinenfabrik Rockstroh & Schneider Nachf. AG” until June 22, 1919 and then “Rockstroh-Werke AG”. The first image I posted comes from a 1905 advertisement
