The stamp is MiNr 53 issued on 1 January 1883. I don't think it is Fournier forgerie (it has perforation K11.5x11) but a notation from the Michel catalogue: „MiNr 52 weist rückseitig den Vermek „Unverkäuflich“auf ;sie durfte-wie MiNr 50,53 und 54-nicht an Postkunden verkauft, sondern nur direkt am Schalter zur Frankierung verwendet werden! MiNr 52 has the Vermek "Unverkäuflich "on the reverse; like MiNr 50,53 and 54, it was not allowed to be sold to postal customers, but only to be used directly at the counter for franking“ is unclear to me. MiNr 52 has vertical printing on the back: Does this printing appear on the 50, 53 and 54? It does not appear on my stamp. Obliteration as a design is common for the period but the way the ink appears-like a cluster of dots-makes me wonder if it's done on a computer printer. Thanks for any opinions

Not a collector of Württemberg after 1875,I own neither of those stamps. However the note in Michel, following no.52 is clear to me: nos.50,52,53 and 54 were not sold to the public, however no.52 (only) has the printing "Unverkäuflich" on the backside.

Here is my only copy, not as bright orange as yours* (Mi 53b ?)11 x 1-1/2, but nothing is printed on the back. I'm guessing the original parcel had more stamps (or else the postal clerk was over zealous!) it is more "orangish" than what is being uploaded- Looking at the image on my computer next to the uploaded image, the color has changed (?!?)- even pushing the colors on my scanner to make it even "oranger" it loads differently.... weird, I have noticed this before 9somewhere there's a scan with a photo taken on my phone of thethe TSF image and the scanned image on my system.... I have two monitors (different brands) changing monitors doesn't change how it shows
