Hello all ,
My name is Paul and I live out in the fens of East Anglia , have lived and moved around the U.K. in various counties . I run my own gardening business and am an artist and sell at small fetes and shows , mostly cars and vehicles in pencil and acrylic paint until recently but now moved onto watercolours and other subjects. I had a large collection of stamps as a teenager , worldwide without really being specialised . Long gone due to divorce etc in the past . Started collecting used GB again during lockdown , and just re- started my Hungarian collection a couple of weeks ago. I have envelopes with worldwide in for possible future albums but sticking with the two for now. I enjoy swapping with collectors worldwide. Really looking forward to the resources and people on the forum

Hi Paul , welcome here. We have much in common, previous collections long gone sold for other lifestyle etc,. I too had a garden business for 3o years, and recently returned to art and painting with some sales in the past , but recently on a learning curve…………as I try to find my “style”.

What I collect: My focus is on Wild Mammals on maximum cards. Occasionally, I get or create maximum cards with other animals, or any other topic.

Hi Paul, welcome. I am a recent comer here as well, GB has some wonderful stamps always thought they were elegant and interesting. The Colonial issues were and are nice as well. Hungary I know did some very nice stamps back when i was first collecting as a lad. Now older i have restarted and find it fun and this site appears to be a very nice community. enjoy and share and nice to meet you
