I guess I have never really given this much thought, but how are coil stamps printed? I was thinking in long single row coil "strips" but after finding this stamp (Scott 699 Type 1 Carmine) it made me think this may be impractical, and they are printed in large sheets, gummed, perforated and then slit apart?
