I thought this might be of interest - I received a parcel from Belgium today (some nice Belgian minisheets), and the sender kindly put a whole selection of Belgian Elström stamps on as postage. I don't collect on cover or cancellations, but I'm not going to break this up as it's an amazing set! (subnote: I must admit I didn't realise you could still use Belgian Frank stamps in 2022)

(subnote: I must admit I didn't realise you could still use Belgian Frank stamps in 2022) Various Euro countries still permit their previous currency. France is notorious, you get Euro, Franc and even 1950s old devalued Franc on mail, Italy is even worse with the weirdest Lire to Euro conversion, almost impossible to calculate.
