I have been collecting stamps since age 9. My first interest was worldwide (like most kids). After college I concentrated on US, collecting singles and plate blocks… in the early 80’s, I began to collect covers from my hometown and county in New York.. This continues to present day, but on a much smaller scale since the markings that I need on cover have become very scarce and expensive. I have a website that shows the most important covers and their descriptions. I also started collecting some worldwide again. I started with Canada, Switzerland, Austria and Germany. I have these about 90-95% complete to certain dates. I then added British Machins (the only British I collect), both mint and used. During Covid, due to boredom (lol) I really expanded my collecting. I added France and all French colonies, Belgium, Netherlands and Indies, some German States, Greece, Saar, along with a few others. What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

Welcome and nice to see another collector that chases after postmarks and covers from their home town and county. I collect items from Queens County, Nova Scotia. Like you many of mine are on postcards as envelopes are more of a challenge. I am impressed with your website. I am not that ambitious. Canada has a great archive of location and postmaster history. I am sure you will enjoy this group.
