Oh boy - it took me a few minutes to find where to vote for the newsletter! And I’m not new - a bit ditzy sometimes, but I bet I’m not the only one who isn’t sure where to vote. It’s a bit confusing - the newsletter heading on the top of the page and the articles of distinction section are in different places.
May I make a suggestion? How about adding a link on the post that takes you to the newsletter. Maybe say something like - “click on this link after you read the newsletter to vote for your favorite”.
So - everyone who is reading this - this is the thread for voting! Don’t miss out on the fun articles in the newsletter, either.

Don’t miss out on the fun articles in the newsletter, either. Good suggestion, we do so in every issue of the newsletter. Also, I had been putting the link in each newsletter post but have neglected to do so for the two previous issues. I'll rectify that situation shortly. p.s., there was a link in the post I made in your giveaway thread that would have taken you directly to the poll.

Just wanted to post my thanks to Vanessa ( rainbowhugz) and David ( dgdecker) for your kind comments about my article on the London Postal Museum in Terri's giveaway thread. I didn't mention it in the article, but that time at the Postal Museum with LB1 ( Londonbus1) was actually my 2nd time there. My wife and I went there once on our own just before the pandemic, but by the time we got there, it was jam-packed with school kids, and we decided not to go into the museum proper. That was partially our own fault, as we had trouble finding the entrance, and we had actually walked right past it more than once before we finally realized that was it! On the day we went with LB1, there was good attendance, but it wasn't over crowded or anything, so we were able to have quite a nice experience, including some fun with the interactive parts of facility, as you saw. Another good postal place to visit in London is the British Library, which houses the famous Tapling Collection, which was assembled by its original owner in the 19th Century, so all early material: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tapling_CollectionUnfortunately, visitors are not allowed to take photos of the stamps in the British Library, so it would be a bit tougher to illustrate an article. I may still attempt one in the future, seeing what images of the collection I can find from published sources. In my opinion, the less famous Mosely Collection is at least as interesting as the Tapling, if not more so, as the stamps are labelled with SG catalogue numbers, which I found very helpful. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mosely_Collection

It was the same for me as Terri ( philatelia) said above. It took me a while to find where to vote. I was clicking on the links in the message below, before spotting the check boxes up above. But I’ve voted!

A comment from Steve on the paucity of "readers" made me think (since I try to read/vote on very good articles - they are all excellent btw)
A lot of folks (people) do not read anymore - is life too fast ??

Hi Rene - yes, life is too fast, but the lack of votes isn't due to paucity of readers - more likely they either didn't know which button to press, or even more likely they were simply apathetic. I think I was confused as to how to register my thoughts and walked away hoping no one could see me. Literacy and vocabulary are dwindling for sure - it's the fault of the auto-correct on our computers - we can now write reams and it comes out looking v.g. even if we're none too bright .............. now, when I was young we used fountain pens and were made to practice spelin. .............

Our TSF Admin makes it so easy for us to vote after reading that I do not understand the "button" comment......well - you write very well !! René

I would like to choose LONDON 2022: A VISIT TO THE POSTAL MUSEUM. It reminds me of my visit to the museum in 1996. The collection of the late Queen Elisabeth has been so interesting.
