Just got back from the General Post Office. I love this set that was released in January 22. There is something very attractive about the minimalist design  |

thanks for posting. If I wasn't preoccupied with collecting 399 Commonwealth countries I would continue with Eire, but you know what it is - things get in the way, but I've always had a liking for stamps from the emerald isle. I hate to appear thick, though in truth I am when it comes to stamps, but are you saying this is a current set of stamps - there doesn't look to be a value? I'm probably missing something here:-)

ah, thanks damo - so we now need a mortgage to buy a book of stamps - I'm ancient and can remember when (for the U.K.) it was 3d. in Lsd. I agree, this design is a bit minimalist, but IMHO it's also rather meagre in terms of flair and imagination, and pale too - think of all those wonderful designs and colour from the past. thanks again.

I also should state that this is intaglio printing, so the parts on the stamps that show as buff are almost raised gold.
