Rod, I have an Agartha cover and mine also has the spray-on bar code through the etiquette, suggesting that it was applied by Royal Mail. Sadly, the USPS also saw fit to adorn the cover with a bar code of its own. If memory serves me, the cover was filled with Agartha stamps. Now if I could only remember where I put them...

Whew! for a moment there Steve, I thought I had posted an image I had poached. They look identical. But wait, there's more (forget the steak knives) the two scans show something interesting. I open my covers on the side (with a scalpel), you, on the other hand open your covers at the top, with a (blunt) letter opener Tch, Tch! lost your Agartha stamps. I smell a faint whiff of a red Bus somewhere.

You ought to see all the Agartha stuff I have! Neat stuff too. I'll have to dig them out soon and scan it all for this post. I met the maker on another board a year or two ago and they sent me a nice cachet cover and contents full of great looking sets! I totally forgot about those until I seen that top stamp. Thanks. I think it was a European Exchange forum but I can't remember now.

I too have a lovely Agartha cover, though the UK Post seems to have done a good job canceling it. I was supposed to receive the Christmas cover you gents have shown, but it never made it to my postbox. I suspect light fingers somewhere between the centre of the earth and here.

That is exactly the one I have/had that James is showing. James can you scan the contents? Did you get those sets with that pretty girl/princess on them? If not I'll have to try to locate mine.

I think it was a European Exchange forum but I can't remember now. Marius was very kind to offer his local labels for free on SCF. I had a nice couple of hours in his company during my 2011 UK visit but then he 'disappeared' for a bit, although I am happy to say has just returned. I am contacting him with a view to meeting up in November during my UK trip. Great stuff Londonbus1

I didn't get mine from over there actually, but the stamp exchange forum I think it was called? I do remember some sort of big blow-up there too shortly after I became a member so I can't remember a lot about it. I do however remember that neat stuff! I really don't collect fantasy issues or labels/Cinderellas but who could refuse those beauties right?

Hi Jeff (and everybody else). Yes the princess was included in the labels I got - the 2010 issues. Marius did a beautiful job on his stamps. The man is a talent.

I may have misplaced the stamps (they're here somewhere) but I didn't lose the web address. Anyone who is interested in acquiring Agartha stamps may be able to get them directly from the Kingdom.

As nice as the stamps are, I am not sure Agartha should be in the locals section ? It should really be in a seperate thread under Cinderellas: Fantasy Stamps or Fantasy Local Posts. [or something like this]. I believe this section should be for 'Local' posts that have had some semblance of mail conveyance, even though some of the issues of such places have not seen any postal use. What say you all ? LB1, are you insinuating that inner Earth's postal system is a sham??? I agree that the topic is a better fit in the Cinderella section. Now, if I could just remember where I put those Agartha stamps...

I moved the thread after Rod concurred -- unfortunately, when a moderator moves a thread the proboards software reflects the moderator as its creator.

I took Marius up on his very kind offer and just received the 2011 set of Agartha stamps. The beauty of these is they always come in these wonderful covers, which, I think, are as highly prized as the labels. Fortunately the Agartha post office workers were on hand to cancel the stamps, because it seems that their Royal Mail counterparts were asleep at the switch. Shown front and back. Thanks again Marius!

Very nice cover James, Just a point to consider "Fortunately the Agartha post office workers were on hand to cancel the stamps, because it seems that their Royal Mail counterparts were asleep at the switch." Royal Mail has to pay wages, sickness and benefits, paid parental leave, holidays, endure postal strikes, support a delivery system , workers insurance felt pens for marker monkeys. I doubt if the Postal Authority at Agartha has similar responsibilities, ergo can offer a better service. (PS I wonder if the Postmaster at Agartha gets paid at all

You think that one's nice, Jeff? Get a load of this one. The 2012 issues are here. This cover has a nautical theme. Many thanks, again, to Mr. Marius. (seems the Royal Mail has awoken from their nap)

Fabulous Steve ! 1. Always thought the Colossus of Rhodes, held a light aloft and straddled the entrance to the Marina at Rhodes, is this a design error? 2. Brickbats to the designers of the Solar System set, left out my favourite little planet, (planet?) Pluto. Who cares about accuracy, Pluto has been part of the team for the most of my life.

So........Score at the Forum = Agartha 1 Hungary and Greece Nil The playing field wasn't level -- had those countries released their stamps after the 2001 advent of Wikipedia they would have had a chance at a tie with Agartha.
