Hello all, I'm new to philately (although I collected a few times as a little kid), so I want to share my first purchase of a stamp album. In this case, for my France Collection. I was on the look for a printed hingeless album that would reflect Yvert & Tellier catalog's chronological order. I chose to use Yvert & Tellier Catalog for the sole reason that they're French and must know about French stamps (my not-very-sophisticated beginner collector's rationale). Ideally, I wanted an album that would also add context to the stamps and what they represented—something like what Mystic does with their Heirloom Albums, or what a lot of you genius experts do with your own designs. But I didn't find anything of the sort for France. So, since I was already following Yvert & Tellier's Catalog, I concluded that Yvert & Tellier's albums would be a logical choice. I decided to go for the Yvert & Tellier Supra Max range of albums since they're hingeless, with simple transparent mounts for each stamp, nice-looking binders, and capacity (in theory) for 120 pages each. I placed the order on Yvert & Tellier's website on Jul 30th and impatiently waited for the order to arrive. Which it just did. I wanted to share with you guys the unboxing experience of my first stamp album. Here are the pictures: The Yvert & Tellier packaging. Which I thought it was really neat, with the philately theme: Box is openThe box's content: 2 sets of pages:- FRANCE SC: 1945-1959 (Set with covers) - 50 pages
- FRANCE SC: 1960-1969 (Set with covers) - 44 pages
1 Binder- SUPRA MAX album: case + binding (Havana color)
The Binder:
The Pages:Binder with the PagesIn theory the binder can hold up to 120 pages. These is how it looks with 94 pages: And that's it for the unboxing of my first ever stamp album. Hope you guys enjoyed it as much as I did. I think there's one thing left to do now... Happy collecting everyone! Eric

That is a beauty. And covering my favorite years of French stamps, too. I’m working with a France album I printed myself from Steiner pages. I sure wish I had stamp photos to go by but it’s working out for me.
