Stage 1. Oh wow! I have stamps from all over the world! Here is Sharjah, Magyar, Equatorial Guinea, and even Fernando Poo! I have a very old stamp that shows George Washington. It is torn and stained so it must be valuable.
Stage 2. I have a stamp from Nazi Germany!
Stage 3. I have every German stamp listed in Scott except for the really expensive ones.
Stage 4. Look at all my varieties listed in Michel! And here is a plate flaw that makes Hitler's mustache look like the logo of Hipstamp!
Stage 5. Here is my postal history exhibit of railroad stamps from colonial Sedang. That is all I collect these days. I spent more on each cover than the colonizers ever did on each train station.

I’ve been diagnosed with advanced stage 4 philateliopathy with occasional flare ups of philatelitis. It is a chronic condition.
