USPS has announced a stamp to be issued later this year honoring doctors, nurses, medical researchers, and everyone else in the healthcare community: Nice addition to a topical collection along these lines. If anyone outside the U.S. would like one of these, let me know and I'll do my best to get you one when they are issued (the date has not been announced yet).

The 1958 Portuguese India issue for the 6 th International Tropical Medicine and Malaria congress, showing the medicinal plant Holarrhenna antidysenterica: I've already shown elsewhere (in the Flowers thread) the re-issue of the same stamp a year later with an overprint in Portuguese currency.
