Rob ( REL1948), they are all great, and thank you for sharing! I have always been a big fan of the British Commonwealth omnibus sets. I hope you will post more....

My fave Omnibus set it the 1963 Red Cross Centenary. The one set Needleman sent MNH with bottom tabs. It was my first Omnibus set, so that's why it's my fave.
(Back in 2016 making pages for the first time: no Scott, SG or even Mi numbers!)

Interesting to contrast British and French omnibus issues. As I reorganized my French colonies collection, I also found it useful to pull out the omnibus issues. They tell a vivid story of their own, distinct from those of the individual colonies. The colonies issuing them shifted. Some were merged or split, others changed names, or were promoted from an office. The overall stories told by the choice of themes was more interesting than the British focus on the monarchy. Great War red cross overprints to the colonial exhibitions, a few commemorations, and then the rival Etat Francais (Vichy) vs Free French stamps, and then celebrations of victory, and then development and space exploration. I will have to post a thread on this.

I like the issues where the outer frame design is consistent but the inside design is a local motif such as the Southern Rhodesia.
