Namaste to everyone,
My name is Raj and I'm from Hyderabad, India. I was around 12-13 years when I went to my aunt's office and found bunch of letters on her desk with wonderful artwork, colors. I didn't know how to handle them, so I cut as close to the edge of stamp with paper and saved them. The more letters/covers I received from her, the more interest I had to collect them. Little did I know the world of stamp collection then. It wasn't until 2007 again I stumbled again into stamps and have been collecting since then. I primarily collect India post-Independence stamps and Miniature sheets, and then world stamps. In my personal journey, I find the hobby both fulfilling and satisfying and great way to learn as well. Now my aim is to make my daughter get into the hobby, so she can witness the beautiful things it offers.
Looking forward to being part of the forum, both learn and contribute.
I need to point out that Steve (Admin) is fantastic person who helped with my initial account registration issues I had (feeling noob level now
). His prompt reply to my inquiry is truly appreciated.
