Impressing my local post office

I took a stamped letter to my local sub post office this morning to get proof of posting and the counter staff could not stop looking at the stamps on the envelope and telling me how wonderful there were. Said they had never seen them before.
I was sending stamps to my sister in France (from the UK). Its £1.85 for 100gm so I slightly overpaid but I think she'll appreciate it. I got carried away buying this particular minisheet recently and bought six in all. I plan to use them for inland and overseas. Some cost face value, some were slightly over and two were a real bargain. I really appreciate interesting stamps on the post I receive and it's good to get a positive reaction to one's mail.
