Hello, everyone. I am Phil Merrill, my moniker is "CaptPhil," and I am a US resident in the state of Tennessee. My parents collected stamps in the 1960s, so I was well grounded in stamps from a young age. I've collected all my life but never really seriously. Now that I am retired I am getting all the stamps I should have bought decades ago.
My main interest currently is France and the French Community. I also collect classic Ireland, Japanese National Parks, post-war Germany, Italy, and some British Commonwealth. And I love learning about stamps. I hope that I've learned enough to help others.
